Parents questions

  • At Sunny Buddies, the adaptation process is tailored to the individual needs of the child. We start with short visits, gradually increasing the time spent at the preschool. We closely collaborate with parents, informing them about progress and encouraging the maintenance of a stable routine at home.

  • Absolutely yes. We encourage parents to accompany their children during the first few days to help them feel safe and confident in the new environment. However, we suggest leaving the child in the room with the teachers and waiting in the corridor, to avoid the child adapting to the place alongside the parent. Communication with the teachers is key here.

  • Our team is highly qualified in childcare, and we always strive to make every child feel comfortable and safe. If necessary, we provide additional support and care, and we also inform parents about the situation. However, crying is a natural way for children to communicate with the world, and it often quickly passes.

  • Each child is unique to us. We ask you to provide this information in advance and note any allergies or special dietary requirements on the registration card so that we can adjust meals to the needs of each child. The safety and health of our wards are our priority.

  • Our preschool is open from Monday to Friday, from 7:00 to 17:30.

  • Yes, we always maintain close communication with parents. At the end of each day, the staff provides information about what the child did, what they ate, how they spent time, and what progress they have made in their development. You will find photos and all additional information, along with a calendar of events for each month, in the Live Kid app, which we use for daily communication with parents.

  • Please bring changeable clothing suitable for the weather, a change of shoes, a towel, and a toothbrush and toothpaste. For the youngest ones, diapers and wipes and a favorite item that may help in adaptation.

  • A typical day at our preschool includes a variety of activities tailored to the age and interests of children. These include educational activities, outdoor play, rest time, meals, and time for independent play and exploration.

  • The size of the group depends on the age of the children, but we always strive to maintain small groups to ensure individual attention and care for each child.

  • All our teachers have appropriate education and certificates that enable them to work with children. Additionally, they regularly participate in training and workshops to develop their skills and knowledge.

  • The safety of our children is our top priority. We have strict entry and exit procedures, regular evacuation drills, and our staff is trained in first aid.

  • At Sunny Buddies, we provide balanced, healthy meals prepared by our experienced chefs. We always take into account special dietary needs and allergies.

  • We ensure our preschool is a place where children can safely express their feelings and learn how to cope with emotions. We promote empathy and cooperation, giving children the opportunity to establish relationships with peers. We also hire teachers who are required to take a positive discipline course.

  • In such situations, we work closely with parents, providing support and guiding the adaptation process. We strive to provide the child with a sense of security and stability.

  • In case of illness, we ask you to notify us as soon as possible and recommend that the child stays at home until they fully recover, to ensure the health of all children and staff.

Remember, we are always available to answer any questions and discuss your child. At Sunny Buddies, our doors are always open to our parents.
